Departments and Services > Behavior Health

Our mission is to provide the highest quality comprehensive mental health services to all patients. We provide the full continuum of treatment and services, help reintegrate patients into community life, and provide education for patients, families, and the community.

Our Services
Our hospitals provide a full, multi-level continuum of care. This includes:

Our Approach
We are dedicated to assessing, treating, and educating patients while providing advanced mental health care and comfort to our patients, their families, and the community. Patients receive the most updated treatment modalities and the newest programs in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Mental Health Services maintains this high level of service and care by participating in the hospital's Quality Improvement Program and has an annual Quality Improvement Plan focusing on patient satisfaction and positive treatment outcomes.

Our patients receive one-on-one evaluations to discuss medical history and treatment goals. The psychiatrist and counseling staff will prescribe a course of treatment and oversee the patient's progress. While specific treatments vary by individual, we provide counseling, medication management, cognitive/behavioral therapy, crisis stabilization, and electro-convulsive therapy.

In addition, we work with families to ease concerns and transitions associated with daily living through education and follow up assessments.
