Lawrence Memorial Hospital (LMH) is a 134-bed acute care hospital offering a range of medical services including emergency care, cardiology, oncology/hematology, day surgery, general and specialty surgery, acute medical services, geriatrics, medical-psychiatry and comprehensive diagnostic and outpatient services. Melrose-Wakefield Hospital (MWH) is a 234-bed general hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including acute medical and surgical services, emergency care, cardiac care and catheterization lab, day surgery, maternity, a special care nursery, oncology/hematology and inpatient psychiatric care. Areas of expertise include:
- A cardiology program that offers advanced treatment and ongoing research
- Cardiac catheterization and emergency angioplasty program participating in the MASS COMM trial
